February Recap

02/28/09 - Construction of a sewer was completed on the southwest quadrant of Brea Canyon Rd. & Butterfield Rd. West. In the same area, Riverside Construction finished the installation of a water line. Grading began for sound walls on the east and west shoulders from Mission Blvd. to 9 th Street , and a storm drain structure was constructed on the southwest corner of 9th Street and State Route 71.

The contractor commenced construction work on Los Angeles County Sanitation District's 21" sewer line. Work continued into late February involving closures on westbound Mission Blvd. , between Dudley Ave. and Westmont Ave.

Upcoming Work - Construction work on an 18" sewer line starting in late February will continue into March closing one lane on the south side of Mission Blvd. , between Westmont Avenue and Dudley . Remaining sewer work will continue for approximately one month thereafter. Finally, a storm drain structure will be constructed on the southeast corner of 9 th St. and State Route 71.
